The Tori Lowery Foundation

This space was created in loving memory of Tori Lowery - a radiant soul whose kindness, joy and love left a lasting imprint on everyone she met. Though her time with us was far too short, her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the light she shared. As we build this foundation, our hope is to honor Tori's memory by supporting causes that reflect her heart and continuing the impact she made in this world.
February 24, 2024. A day planned to celebrate Tori and Hayden one last time before their big day.
The Saraland Women’s Club was the setting for this special day. Unfortunately, the celebration did not happen. Tori’s aunt went to pick up the deposit from Women’s club.
In that visit, she learned that one of the many things the center does for the community, is to give out scholarships to seniors from Saraland, Satsuma, and Chickasaw. We decided we would donate the deposit for a student. The deposit was only $250.00.
We thought maybe we could do better. Several of Ben’s (Tori’s dad-her pops) work connections had already reached out, when they heard of Tori’s passing, and wanting to contribute in some way. After calling a few of them back to see if they would like to add to the $250.00, the response was overwhelming!
That’s when Ben and I knew, this was something that could be very special. Something we could do to carry on Tori’s memory and legacy. And so, The Tori Lowery Foundation was set in motion.
Our first recipient, Claire Boyett, was chosen by the Women’s Club to receive our donation. We did not choose Claire, but we know God did. After reading her application, we could not have picked a more perfect person ourselves to receive the first scholarship.
The Tori Lowery Foundation was created to honor Tori’s life, spirit, and passion for helping others. Our mission is simple: to ease the financial burden for hardworking high school students who dream of pursuing higher education. By offering scholarships and community support, we hope to keep Tori’s legacy alive—one student, one dream, and one bright future at a time.
Each year, the Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors who demonstrate academic commitment, leadership, and compassion for their community—values Tori embodied every day. Scholarships can be used for tuition, books, or essential living expenses as students transition to college life.
Your donation directly funds scholarships that make college more accessible for deserving students. Whether you choose a one-time gift or monthly support, every dollar helps carry Tori’s spirit forward.
