On February 17th, God called Tori home...
The news of her passing was sudden and unexpected.
In fact, we are all still trying to process her absence. It’s been a tough journey, but God has been faithful—uplifting us, giving us strength, comforting us, encouraging us, and loving us through His presence. You see, God never leaves us alone.
We are thankful for our relationship with Christ, and most importantly, for the relationship Tori had with her Savior. The love Tori had for Christ showed through the bright light she brought to our family and her community.
To know her was to love her! Although we miss her deeply and our hearts are broken, we are honored to carry out her legacy and be her voice through The Tori Lowery Foundation.
Tori’s legacy was filled with love—love for her family, friends, community, and, honestly, anyone in her presence. Her love was always unconditional.
Tori passion was deer hunting. In our family, she had the nickname “Deer Slayer” because she has the record for the BIGGEST kill and she made sure everyone knew it—it was NO SECRET! It was nothing for her to be at the camp, her happy place, walking around barefooted, with her twenty bags and two cases of coke. And of course her Stanley cup.
Tori loved BIG! She was a tiny, young woman with a VIBRANT personality—always full of life, energy, and enthusiasm. She had a heart of gold and a soul full of compassion. Tori’s laugh was contagious, and her smile was bright! One of her friends described her personality as being the color yellow because she lit up every room and brought LIFE to others.
Her positive presence and kindness were truly contagious. When we started the foundation, I looked up the characteristics of someone who makes a difference. A person who makes a difference is dedicated to creating a BIG IMPACT—even with a small action or a few words. It’s someone who improves the lives of others by encouraging them and inspiring positive change.
Tori Lowery was a DIFFERENCE MAKER.
